For at least 10 years I had complained to my previous, long time dentist that my bite was off. He insisted I was grinding my teeth. I knew that wasn't true because I would find pieces of my teeth in food as I chewed. I had chewed my 3 bridges down to bare metal and my lower, front teeth were wearing down. Dr. Don evaluated my problem, agreed my bite was off and came up with a plan to restore my entire mouth. After almost a year, my teeth have all been crowned, and the bridges replaced with implants. Dr. Don did a full mouth restoration, and now my teeth should now last for the rest of my life. Another bonus is that I now have a mouth full of white teeth! Dr. Don and his assistants were so easy to work with. All were very professional, very caring and the entire procedure was just about painless. His office staff was so helpful scheduling my appointments. Can't say enough about Czaplicki Family Dentistry, just wish I had found them 10 years ago.

Dental implants are recommended to many patients...
Tooth Loss Is a Common Dental Issue
Protect Your Jaw with Dental Implants
The roots of your natural teeth play a crucial role in maintaining the strength of your jawbone. After a tooth is lost, the bone tissue in your jaw begins to shrink, or atrophy. Left untreated, this issue can lead to further tooth loss and even affect the shape of your face. In fact, jawbone atrophy can actually make you look older than you are.
Titanium or ceramic implants effectively replace missing tooth roots, preventing further bone atrophy, improving your jaw health, and keeping your facial features as youthful as possible. It's the closest thing to having your natural teeth back.
"Very friendly and helpful staff. Even being a bit nervous, I felt so comfortable with the patient, gentle hands of the dentists as I had some major repairs done." Rebecca Bores - 5-Star Facebook Review

Understanding Dental Implants
An implant-supported restoration has three parts: the implant, the abutment, and the restoration. The implant itself is a small titanium or ceramic post that acts as an artificial tooth root. The post then provides exceptional support for a crown, bridge, or denture. By replacing the entire structure of the tooth, an implant-supported restoration offers an unrivaled level of stability, comfort, and appearance.
Here's how implants fit into your smile...

All of my experiences with Czaplicki Family Dentistry have been pleasurable. Each of the dentists and team members have been professional, knowledgeable, and personable. The positive experiences with the dentists, administrative personnel, and clinical staff, both assistants and hygienists, have made these occasions excellent. I would highly recommend Czaplicki Family Dentistry for your dental needs.
View on GoogleI came here after my former dentist canceled on me twice after I had broken a tooth. Czaplicki got me in IMMEDIATELY and they were so thorough I already knew what work I needed besides due to prior appointments with other dentists, so I knew they were honest with me. They also really put me at ease as I was nervous about the extent of damage I would've sustained. So happy with them.

At our Milwaukee-area practice, we use state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging tools to plan your dental implant treatment. For example, all of our x-rays are performed digitally.
In addition, our ORTHOPHOS® SL 3D imaging system creates high-definition, panoramic views of your jaw, allowing us to identify the optimal positions for each implant.
When it comes to the implants themselves, we mostly use posts from the Astra Tech Implant System, one of the most reliable implant brands in the world.

Get Same-Day Restorations With CEREC
Thanks to the CEREC® machine at our Hales Corners, WI, office, we can create a lifelike, long-lasting dental crown during a single appointment.
Using our CBCT imaging technology, our dentists can create 3D images of your teeth and make a restoration that matches the shape and color of your smile. We use strong ceramic materials that can withstand the force of a bite. Once your gums have healed from the implant placement surgery, our dentists can attach your CEREC-made crown to an implant with an abutment.
